Step-by-Step Process

1 Eligibility Check

  • Qualifying Exam: Must have passed 10th Std / SSC Examination from a recognized Board.
  • Basis of Admission: Inter-se-merit/rank based on the percentage of marks obtained in the 10th Std / SSC examination.

2 Online Registration

Register at techadmissionshry.gov.in ↗

  • Sign Up: Provide PPP ID (Haryana) or Aadhaar. Details auto-fetched from PPP.
  • Fee: General (₹1000), Reserved (₹700).
  • Timeline: April (3rd Wk) to June (1st-2nd Wk).

3 & 4 Document Verification & Merit Rank

Step 3: Document Verification

  • Done at selected Designated Center (Govt. Polytechnic).
  • Marks and PPP ID verified.
  • Only for fee-paid candidates.

Step 4: Inter-se-Merit Rank

  • Declared around June (2nd Wk).
  • Tie-breakers: Math marks → Science marks → English marks → DOB (elder) → Name (alphabetical).

5 & 6 Online Counseling & Physical Reporting

1st Counseling

  • Choice Filling: June (3rd Wk)
  • Seat Allotment: June (3rd Wk)
  • Physical Reporting: June (4th Wk)

2nd Counseling (Upgradation)

  • Choice Filling: June/July (Last Wk / 1st Wk)
  • Seat Allotment: July (1st Wk)
  • Physical Reporting: July (1st Wk)

Step 6: Physical Reporting Details

  • Report to the allotted institute with Provisional Seat Allotment Letter.
  • Deposit one semester fee and verify original documents.
  • Receive system-generated Provisional Admission Slip.

7 Institute Level Counseling

  • Conducted by individual institutes for vacant/unfilled seats after 2nd counseling.
  • Fresh Merit prepared by the institute.
  • Filled without any reservation before the final cut-off date (mid-Sept).

8 Special Quota Seats

  • HGST: Govt School Toppers (1 seat/branch).
  • KM / TFW: Kashmiri Migrants / Tuition Fee Waiver (up to 5% supernumerary).
  • EWS: Economically Weaker Section (up to 10%).
  • MAR / SDB / HARIHAR: Regional & specific schemes.

  • Qualifying Exam (10th): Original & self-attested photocopy.
  • PPP ID: Mandatory for Haryana residents (Verified status).
  • Character Certificate: From School/College (Annexure-XV).
  • Medical Fitness: Annexure-XIV.
  • Anti-Ragging: Undertakings by Student (XVIII) and Parent (XIX).
  • Category/Quota Certificates: PH, FF, ESM, EWS, KM, HGST (if applicable).
  • Photos & Fees: Coloured photo (same as uploaded) and Admission Data Management Fee (₹200 for Self Financing).

Note: Original certificates are returned after verification. Institutes must not retain original certificates.
